We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Larbert, specifically dedicated to a high-profile healthcare contract. This isn't just about managing budgets; it's about maintaining and improving vital clinical environments. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our facilities management and lifecycle projects are delivered with financial precision and maximum value. Key Responsibilities Financial Management: Lead the commercial delivery of various workstreams, from reactive maintenance to large-scale healthcare lifecycle projects. Subcontractor Management: Handle procurement, negotiate rates, and manage monthly valuations and final accounts. Contract Administration: Ensure all works comply with NEC4 or JCT frameworks (as applicable) and specific healthcare compliance standards. Cost Reporting: Prepare detailed monthly CVRs (Cost Value Reconciliations) and provide accurate forecasting to the Senior Management team. Client Liaison: Build strong relationships with NHS stakeholders, ensuring transparency and "value for money" in all commercial dealings. The Professional Profile Qualifications: A degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent) is essential. MRICS status is a significant advantage. Experience: Proven experience in a commercial role, preferably within Facilities Management (FM), PFI/PPP contracts, or the Healthcare sector. Knowledge: Familiarity with the Scottish construction market and building regulations. Soft Skills: A sharp eye for detail, a proactive approach to risk management, and the ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
