Job Description
Quantity Surveyor
Location: Manchester Airport
Contract until October 2026
Working Hours: 40 hours per week
Working Pattern: Initially full-time on-site - Transitioning to hybrid (2–3 days on-site per week) after the first few months
Vetting Level: CTC or Airside Pass ()
Role Summary
We are seeking a degree-qualified Quantity Surveyor with a minimum of 2 years’ experience to support high-volume, lower-value works (typically up to £3–4m) at Manchester Airport.
The role involves end-to-end commercial and contractual support within a complex, multi-stakeholder environment, with a strong focus on NEC contract administration. Airport or aviation experience is desirable but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
Administer NEC contracts across multiple work packages Manage contract processes end-to-end, including variations, compensation events, and change control Support and manage high-volume, lower-value projects Draft, manage, and run tender processes Provide accurate cost management, reporting, and commercial governance Work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders in a live operational environment
Required Qualifications & Experience
Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveyor role Proven experience administering NEC contracts Experience managing high-volume, lower-value works Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail Ability to operate effectively within complex stakeholder environments
Desirable Experience
Airport or aviation project experience Experience working in live operational or regulated environments Familiarity with procurement and tendering processes
