Project Quantity Surveyor Role - Construction and refurbishments Construction and Refurbishment Projects | Office & Site Based Salford Quays based office We are working with a well-established, highly respected construction and refurbishment contractor with a strong pipeline of work across the North West. Known for delivering high-quality new build and refurbishment projects. The business has built an excellent reputation for professionalism, repeat work and long-standing relationships. This is a contractor that focuses on delivery and well-planned projects, clear communication and strong commercial control. Operating in a steady, controlled growth phase, the business offers a secure environment where commercial staff are trusted and really valued Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team, based from offices in Salford Quays with regular site presence. The Role You will take full commercial responsibility for refurbishment projects up to £2 million, managing schemes from pre-construction through to final account. Key responsibilities include: Full commercial management of refurbishment projects Cost planning, procurement and subcontractor management Valuations, variations and final accounts Monitoring project costs and cash flow Working closely with site teams to ensure commercial control Reporting into senior management and contributing to project strategy About You Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within refurbishment / fit-out projects Comfortable running projects up to £2m Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills Confident working both office-based and on site Professional, proactive and team-focused approach Whats on Offer Salary: £45,000 £55,000 Car allowance Pension with employer contributions Holiday entitlement Secure, long-term role within a stable and growing business Supportive management team and clear opportunity to progress
