Quantity Surveyor – Residential Developer Up to £50k DOE plus company package Location: Wolverhampton About the Company: Our client builds and sells over 10,000 homes annually across England, Wales, and Scotland. They operate through 24 regional offices and employ hundreds of people in various roles within the construction sector. They emphasize its commitment to working with local communities and contributing positively to them. This includes developing infrastructure and making financial contributions to local authorities. About the Role: As Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing all aspects of the commercial and cost management of our residential developments—from pre-construction through to final account. You’ll work closely with site teams, subcontractors, and the wider commercial department to ensure developments are delivered on budget, on time, and to the highest quality. Key Responsibilities: * Prepare and manage accurate cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents * Procure subcontractors and manage payments, variations, and valuations * Monitor project progress and report on financial performance * Support value engineering and cost control processes * Maintain excellent relationships with suppliers and key stakeholders About the benefits / rewards: The salary will be dependent on the level of exposure to the residential industry.
