About the Role: You’ll take ownership of commercial and cost management across a varied portfolio of projects, working closely with Directors and senior professionals. This role provides exposure to high-profile schemes and the chance to develop your skills while influencing project delivery from inception to completion. Current & Upcoming Projects: £80m commercial office development £400m residential-led scheme Universities, healthcare, and retail developments Long-term local authority and council programmes Required Experience: 3–5 years post-grad QS experience in construction, fit-out, or refurbishment projects Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related discipline MRICS or working towards chartership Extensive pre- and post-contract QS experience across all RIBA stages NEC contract experience Leading cost planning, contract administration, valuations, and final accounts Procurement strategy and tender process management Proven ability to lead project teams and mentor junior surveyors Strong client-facing skills, commercial awareness, and numeracy Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management Leadership & Development: Direct Director exposure, with many projects Director-led Opportunity to mentor and develop junior team members Collaborative involvement in business growth and client development Ongoing RICS chartership support and professional development What’s on Offer: Direct Director exposure and mentoring opportunities Experience on high-profile projects across varied sectors Supportive, collaborative culture Competitive salary and benefits Clear career progression opportunities Working Pattern: 3 days in the office or on site 2 days working from home Choice of Manchester or Liverpool base
