Job Description

Our client requires a Quantity Surveyor to assist the team on a permanent basis at their offices in Wembley. They are an established construction and maintenance and provider to the social housing and education sectors.\nQuantity Surveyor to ensure that variations are priced and submitted to the client’s representative on a regular basis.\nQuantity Surveyor to assist site and project managers and the clients in the identification and recording of variations.\nAlong with understanding the key financial risks and opportunities associated with the Contract(s) and taking all necessary measures to mitigate risk and enhance opportunities the Quantity Surveyor will also report back to the business on the status of these.\nQuantity Surveyor to develop and monitor performance against pre-determined key performance Indicators for the region.\nQuantity Surveyor to analyze statistical trends in project data and report monthly adverse trends and suggest potential mitigation strategies.\nQuantity Surveyor to ensure all critical deadlines are met monthly, specifically submission of valuations, internal CVRs, cash flow forecasts, internal forward work plans, sub-contract ordering, valuing of sub-contract works and processing sub-contract payments all in accordance with deadline schedules set by the line manager.\nQuantity Surveyor to liaise with the site and project managers to ensure maximum efficiency of working methods and material procurement.\nQuantity Surveyor to have experience of pricing models: NHF SOR codes, basket rates, schedule of items, bill of quantities, etc along with experience of JCT, NEC, TPC, PPC and NHF standard forms of contract.\nQuantity Surveyors hours are 8 am - 5 pm, salary to be in the region of £60k - £70k for this permanent position.\nIf interested in this Quantity Surveyors role please send CV and / or call Seamus to discuss
