Quantity Surveyor – Social Housing Contractor\n\n Coventry\n £40,000 – £50,000 + Package\n\nI’m currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing social housing contractor based in Coventry, who are looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support their planned maintenance and refurbishment programmes.\n\nThis is a great opportunity to join a stable business with a strong pipeline of work across the Midlands and long-term contracts with housing associations and local authorities.\n\nThe Role\n\nYou’ll be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of multiple projects, including:\n\n * \n\n Planned maintenance works\n\n * \n\n Internal & external refurbishments\n\n * \n\n Kitchen and bathroom replacements\n\n * \n\n Reroofing programmes\n\n * \n\n Voids and occupied refurbishments\n\nKey duties will include:\n\n * \n\n Cost control and commercial reporting\n\n * \n\n Preparing and agreeing valuations\n\n * \n\n Managing subcontractor accounts\n\n * \n\n CVRs and final accounts\n\n * \n\n Procurement and cost forecasting\n\n * \n\n Working closely with operational teams to maximise project performance\n\nAbout You\n\nMy client is looking for someone who can hit the ground running in a social housing environment, ideally with:\n\n * \n\n Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Assistant QS within social housing / maintenance\n\n * \n\n Strong knowledge of planned works and refurbishment projects\n\n * \n\n Commercially astute and detail-focused\n\n * \n\n Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills\n\n * \n\n Full UK driving licence \n\nWhat’s On Offer\n\n * \n\n Salary of £40,000 – £50,000 depending on experience\n\n * \n\n Attractive benefits package\n\n * \n\n Long-term, secure workload\n\n * \n\n Supportive and growing commercial team\n\n * \n\n Opportunity for progression within the business
