Quantity Surveyor - Surfacing

Our client, a well-established civils contractor, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. This role will be ideal for a Quantity Surveyor with surfacing experience, or a civil engineering background, working across a range of infrastructure and groundwork projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage project costs from tender stage through to final account
Prepare valuations, cost reports, and forecasts
Procure and manage subcontractors and suppliers
Assess, price, and agree variations and change control
Work closely with site and project teams to ensure commercial performance
Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within surfacing, highways, or civil engineering projects
Strong commercial awareness and contractual knowledge
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently
Desirable Experience:
Surfacing or highways project experience (highly beneficial)
Civil engineering background (advantageous)
