About the Role



We are currently seeking Quantity Surveyors at all levels to join our dynamic and growing commercial team. We have opportunities on a number of exciting high profile projects for professionals looking to take the next step in their career.

Responsibilities



  • Acting as a reliable, client-facing commercial representative, attending regular project and client meetings.
  • Timely and accurate preparation and submission of interim and final applications for payment, ensuring all contractual entitlements are captured.
  • Leading the preparation and negotiation of final accounts.
  • Producing weekly cost/value reports, delivery schedules, and relevant KPI data.
  • Compiling and negotiating change control documentation with clients.
  • Preparing and presenting monthly cost/value reconciliations and accurate project forecasts.
  • Developing and managing forward work schedules and cash flow projections.
  • Procuring, negotiating, and managing sub-contract and material orders.
  • Overseeing financial and commercial management of subcontractors through to final account settlement.
  • Ensuring all contractual notices and documentation are submitted in accordance with contract terms.
  • Reviewing site records regularly to support the preparation of variation claims and additional payment submissions.
  • Providing commercial support to site and contracts management teams.
  • Assisting the Estimating and Procurement departments as required.
  • Mentoring and supporting junior Quantity Surveyors in their professional development.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring open communication and proactive resolution of commercial issues.


Qualifications



Proven experience in a Quantity Surveying role within the civil engineering or earthworks sectors.



Required Skills



  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internal project management systems.
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • A flexible and dependable approach, with a commitment to high standards and continuous improvement.
