Bennett & Game are pleased to represent a leading specialist brickwork and masonry contractor with a turnover of £50m-£60m, delivering complex brickwork and faade packages across London and the Home Counties. The company has an excellent reputation for quality, technical capability and project delivery, with schemes typically valued between £100k and £1m.

They are seeking a Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding commercial team, based from their Chelmsford office with regular travel to sites across the region.

Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor Salary & Benefits

  • Salary: £50k - £85k DOE

Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor Job Overview

  • Leading commercial management of multiple brickwork and masonry packages
* Preparation and agreement of valuations, variations and final accounts
* Subcontract procurement and management
* Cost planning, forecasting and financial reporting
* Contract administration and risk management
* Supporting and mentoring junior team members
* Regular site visits and client liaison

Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor Job Requirements

  • Experience within a subcontractor, main contractor or housebuilder environment
* Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
* Proven ability to manage packages from procurement through to final account
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Ability to work independently while contributing to a wider commercial team
* Full UK driving licence
