Quantity Surveyor / Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Location: East of Scotland

We are currently working in partnership with one of Scotland’s most award-winning residential developers, who are looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor or Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team in the East of Scotland.

The Opportunity

You will support the commercial delivery of residential developments across the East of Scotland, working closely with senior commercial and site teams. The client is open to candidates from non-residential backgrounds and will provide support to transition into residential if required.

Key Responsibilities

*

Assisting with cost management across residential developments

*

Procurement and management of subcontract packages

*

Valuations, variations and cost reporting

*

Supporting monthly cost value reconciliations (CVRs)

*

Working closely with site teams to ensure commercial control

*

Liaising with subcontractors, consultants and internal stakeholders

About You

*

Minimum 2 years’ post-graduate experience

*

Background from a PQS, main contractor or subcontractor environment

*

Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail

*

Good communication skills and a collaborative approach

*

Residential experience not essential
