The Role As a Quantity Surveyor within the Retrofit Delivery team, you will play a vital role in managing project costs, mitigating financial risks, and ensuring value for money while maintaining compliance with legal, regulatory, and quality standards. Working closely with internal team and external contractors, you will oversee financial performance to ensure projects are delivered in line with agreed terms, maximising SNG's commercial benefits. Within broad direction set by the Head of Retrofit Delivery, you will have the autonomy to decide how the team operates, resources are deployed, and work gets done. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be integral to the delivery of the retrofit programme, ensuring commercial management and the successful execution of contracts in line with the agreed terms and conditions. Key Accountabilities include: Overseeing all commercial aspects of Homes and Place contracts, including procurement, contract negotiation, review of contracts and purchase orders, ensuring compliance with contractual terms, industry standards, and regulations.
