Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Location: London – Notting Hill


Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to play a pivotal role in the commercial and financial delivery of Lanserring’s high-end residential joinery and interiors projects. Sitting at the heart of finance and operations, this role is responsible for managing budgets, cost control, procurement, contracts and risk across bespoke, design-led projects. The successful candidate will provide strong commercial leadership throughout project delivery, support bids and growth initiatives, and ensure full contractual and regulatory compliance, contributing directly to the ongoing success of an internationally recognised luxury brand. Full-time or part-time applicants will be considered.


Key Responsibilities


  • Lead commercial and financial management of high-end residential joinery and interiors projects from pre-contract through delivery
  • Oversee project budgets, cost forecasting, reporting, and cost control to ensure profitability and margin performance
  • Manage procurement strategies, supplier and subcontractor appointments, and commercial negotiations
  • Draft, negotiate, administer, and manage contracts (primarily JCT), including variations, valuations, payments, and final accounts
  • Act as a strategic link between finance and operations, providing clear commercial insight and guidance to project teams
  • Identify, assess, and manage commercial risks, ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements
  • Support business development by preparing bids, pricing, and contributing to growth strategies and new opportunities
  • Lead and improve commercial processes, providing mentorship and guidance where required
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders across B2B and B2C projects


Qualifications & Skills

  • Qualification in Quantity Surveying, RICS or equivalent
  • Proven experience in commercial leadership, with a strong track record of delivering revenue growth and margin improvement
  • Experience with forecasting, cost control and cost reporting
  • Previous experience of interiors fit-out preferred but not essential
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • JCT contract expertise with legal understanding of contract law
  • Team leadership & commercial process improvement
  • Confident in procurement, risk management & stakeholder communication with B2B and B2C
  • German speaking would be a beneficial, but not essential.
