Job Description

We are recruiting for a hands-on Commercial Manager / Quantity Surveyor to support Site Delivery activities on a major UK nuclear / energy infrastructure programme.

This is a site-based role suited to a traditional Quantity Surveyor with strong NEC experience, comfortable working closely with delivery teams and managing the day-to-day commercial aspects of live contracts.

The Role

  • Commercial management of site-based contracts supporting infrastructure and site establishment works
  • Administration of NEC contracts including compensation events, early warnings, and payments
  • Supporting Project Managers with cost control, reporting, and financial performance
  • Managing subcontractor relationships and resolving commercial issues
  • Ensuring governance, processes, and audit requirements are consistently followed

About You

  • Strong background in Quantity Surveying (essential)
  • Proven experience working with NEC contracts (NEC3/NEC4)
  • Experience in nuclear, energy, civils, or major infrastructure projects
  • Comfortable in a site-based, delivery-focused role
  • Detail-oriented with strong commercial and contractual discipline
