An established and forward-looking building and construction business is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team in Coatbridge. With a strong pipeline of secured work over the next five years, this role offers the opportunity to play a key part in both project delivery and the ongoing evolution of the company's commercial function.

The business operates across external wall systems, roofing, cladding, and rendering, and is actively modernising its processes and team structure. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to progress within a growing building and construction environment.

Role Details

Location: Coatbridge (office-based)
Monday-Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
Friday: 8:00am - 3:00pm
37.5 hours per week
Employment Type: Full-time, permanent
Reporting to: Commercial ManagerSalary & Benefits

£55,000 - £58,000 (flexible for the right candidate)

Preparing cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts
Carrying out measurement and take-offs
Managing tendering and procurement processes
Administering contracts and ensuring compliance
Monitoring cost control and project financial performance
Conducting risk assessments and value engineering
Producing financial reports and project forecasts
Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
Supporting overall commercial strategy and project deliveryCandidate Requirements

Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role
Proven background in external wall insulation (EWI/NWI), rendering systems, cladding, or roofing
Strong understanding of contractual and commercial processes
Excellent numerical, analytical, and financial management skills
Confident communicator with client-facing experience
