ROLE PURPOSE A Quantity Surveyor has a number of years experience in managing all costs relating to Mechanical & Electrical engineering. They may also have experience in delivering commercial services within a Facilities Management and fabric environment. They will be supporting other more senior members of the commercial team in delivering the varied commercial duties for one or more key clients within the business, as well as being responsible for procuring and managing our supply chain. They actively seek to minimise the costs of a project and enhance value for money, while still achieving the required standards and quality for our Customers. Typically the QS will be a peer role model for those less experienced members of the commercial team and have the potential to manage a small team of less experienced commercial colleagues.
