Our client is one of the UK's leading infrastructure contractors, working nationwide on iconic projects and frameworks.

Due to continual growth, we are currently recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor, from either a Tier 1 or Main Contractor background, with infrastructure framework experience.

This is a Hybrid role that can be based anywhere within the South West region, with the requirement to attend the Framework Office 1 day a week.

As the ideal candidate, your will have strong NEC contract experience, a good understanding of cost plans, and of cost and value reporting.

Quantity Surveyor roles and responsibilities:

As an experienced and confident QS who can hit the ground running, you will be responsible for for own projects, which will include:

Managing all project costs in accordance with contractual agreements.
Oversee financial performance, ensuring profit targets and efficiency savings are met.
Administer change control processes and adhere to contractual timescales.
Identify and manage risks and opportunities effectively.
Manage procurement processes and supply chain.
Handle commercial queries, including disputes.
Monitor project progress, conduct site visits, and maintain financial logs and forecasts.
Prepare and attend monthly cost review meetings, identifying variations and actions.
Work with project teams, clients, and suppliers, fostering a culture of professionalism and collaboration.Quantity Surveyor requirements:

Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or construction related qualification with relevant experience.
Quantity Survey experience within the infrastructure sector, working for either a Tier 1 or Main Contractor.
NEC Contracts experience is essential.
Experience interfacing and working collaboratively with project, engineering teams, finance and procurement teams.Quantity Surveyor Benefits:
