Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: Gloucester Salary: Up to £65,000 + Package

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established and growing regional contractor with a strong pipeline of secured work.

This role offers the chance to take full commercial responsibility for your own projects, typically ranging from £2m to £10m, with a particular focus on care homes and supported living developments.

You will be joining a close-knit and collaborative commercial team, working alongside senior leadership, where you will play a key role in delivering projects from inception through to completion.

The Role:

* Managing the commercial aspects of multiple projects from pre-construction through to final account

* Running your own schemes with values between £2m–£10m

* Preparing and managing budgets, forecasts, and cost reports

* Procurement and management of subcontractors

* Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget

* Liaising with clients, consultants, and internal teams

Projects & Pipeline:

* Strong pipeline of secured work across the region

* Current projects include a fit-out scheme in Gloucester and a live project in Coventry

* Further projects due to start in the near future

Requirements:

* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role

* Proven track record of managing projects independently

* Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills

* Experience working on similar value construction projects

* Full UK driving licence
