What you’ll be doing • Accountable for the assessment of new products, services and capability uplift projects into the RAN Performance, Optimisation and Design teams. • Accountable for converting those requirements into a fully costed operational RAN Performance & Optimisation solution and/or operating model. • Work with stakeholder teams to gather inputs and ensure proposed model works for the end users and is feasible from a tooling/process perspective. • Accountable for defining appropriate KPIs, SLAs and mechanisms for monitoring new capability or contracts. • Regularly review ongoing operational models/processes for improvements in ways of working and cost effectiveness. • Provide technical thought leadership. • Provide effective stakeholder management into projects and peer teams. Skills and Experience Skills you'll need to succeed • Good understanding of RAN Performance analysis and what counters and KPIs mean. • Good understanding of the parameters that effect RAN Performance, Service and End User experience. • Good understanding of 4G, 5G and Mission Critical mobile network architecture and how RAN fits into, influences or is influenced by the wider mobile network. • Use of operational support systems (OSS) tools and systems.
Experience you’d be expected to have • Experience of working for a mobile network operator, vendor or managed service supplier. • Experience of working on RFI’s and RFP’s. • Understand commercial impact of technical requirements. • Worked as part of a team managing 3rd party performance would be advantageous. • Transformation experience • Understanding of ITIL v4 concepts and practices. • Managing relationships with stakeholders to deliver required outcomes. • Managing multiple priorities and effectively communicating to ensure alignment.
