Job Description
RBI / Corrosion Engineer (ref: RBI 12/25)
Plant Integrity Management (PIM) is growing, and we’re looking for a talented RBI/Corrosion Engineer . This is a key role offering the chance to make a real impact in offshore integrity management.
Desired Skills and Experience
· Previous experience in Integrity Management
· Minimum of 3 years industry experience
· Incorporated Engineer or equivalent qualifications & experience
· Accredited Bachelors or Honours degree in engineering or technology or equivalent experience
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Clear concise technical report writing
Responsibilities would include but would not be limited to:
· Proactively support management of all activities impacting Technical Integrity from corrosion related matters
· Prepare all Asset Corrosion Control Schemes, matrices and Risk-Based Assessments and supporting documents
· Support the implementation of the Asset Integrity Management Strategy
· Ensure Written Schemes of Examination / RBI Schemes are developed, in place and actively managed
· Provide technical support to Integrity Engineers and Senior Corrosion Engineers
· Support asset integrity teams in the review of Inspection findings and assess the impact of corrosion degradation taking appropriate action where necessary
· Participate in the investigation and research of In-Service failures, make recommendations and support close-out of actions raised to prevent recurrence when requested
· Provide technical support to client as required
Further education will be made available for the right candidates. Candidates must be eligible to work within the UK.
