Reactive Maintenance Engineer - Manchester / Bolton / Preston\n\nBasic salary from £30,000 - £36,000 per annum / 40hr working week / Paid travel / Overtime rates at time and a half\n\nAre you a reliable and experienced Maintenance Engineer looking for a stable role within a growing business? We are recruiting for a full-time general multi-trade engineer to join our team and work on with our client base which is predominately the restaurant, cafe and pub sector.\n\nYou will ideally be experienced with the ability to work in the field independently and be confident in problem solving.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * General maintenance duties and repairs when required\n\n * Basic carpentry tasks – e.g., fixing, hanging doors and door furniture\n\n * Minor painting and decorating – tiling, filling, sanding, and touch-ups\n\n * Basic plumbing – unblocking toilets, fixing minor leaks, tap changes etc\n\n * Field based role meeting various clients\n\nRequirements:\n\n * Full Drivers licence – no more than 3 points\n\n * City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in plumbing would be an advantage\n\n * Previous experience in a similar maintenance or handyman role\n\n * Skilled in basic building maintenance tasks\n\n * Must be eligible for high-level security clearance – applicants must not have a criminal record\n\n * Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach\n\n * Good communication skills and a customer-focused mindset\n\nBenefits Package:\n\n * £30,000 - £36,000 annual salary\n\n * 40hr working week\n\n * Door to door pay minus 30 mins\n\n * Monday – Friday work\n\n * On call 1 in 8 weekends with £100 standby allowance + overtime paid at 1.5\n\n * Weekly overtime available also paid at 1.5\n\n * Van & Fuel Card (work use only)\n\n * 20 days holiday + 8 bank holidays\n\n * Pension\n\n * Supportive team and professional working environment\n\n * Stable and long-term position with job security\n\nIf this position is of interest to you please contact #Georgia CV Bay on (phone number removed)
