A new opportunity for a career professional to join an established Portfolio Team within a Specialist Real Estate Bridging Lender. Role Summary: We are seeking a Portfolio Manager to manage a diverse portfolio of short-term property loans, with a particular focus on risk monitoring, recovery strategies, and exit planning. The successful candidate will bring solid experience in recoveries, valuations, and distressed asset resolution , albeit may not have any direct experience in working for a Lender. This is a hands-on, commercially focused role requiring proactive management of loan performance and swift action on problem cases. Key Responsibilities: Manage a live portfolio of bridging loans across residential and commercial property sectors. Monitor asset performance, loan milestones, borrower conduct, and covenant compliance. Identify early signs of distress and develop proactive recovery and enforcement strategies. Lead on recoveries, including negotiation with borrowers, instructing receivers, and managing asset disposals. Work closely with internal teams and external parties ( valuers, solicitors, receivers, and agents).
