A Magic Circle firm with a top‑tier real estate finance practice is seeking to hire a Real Estate Finance Associate (2–8 PQE) as part of continued strategic growth within its high‑performing London finance team.

You will join a specialist platform known for:

• Advising on complex, high‑value real estate financings across the UK and internationally
• Acting for banks, alternative lenders, debt funds, insurers and borrowers on sophisticated transactions
• Supporting investment, development and refinancing matters across all major real estate asset classes
• Handling structured and cross‑border financings involving multi‑jurisdictional elements
• Providing commercially focused, solutions‑driven advice directly to in‑house legal teams, investment professionals and senior stakeholders
• Seamless collaboration with colleagues across real estate, restructuring, tax and funds teams

This is a team operating at the top end of the real estate finance market, advising on transactions where technical excellence, commercial judgement and deal‑management skills are essential.

The Role

You will advise on a broad range of complex real estate finance matters, including:

• Investment and acquisition financings
• Development and construction financings
• Refinancings and restructurings
• Lender‑ and borrower‑side mandates
• Structured and cross‑border real estate finance transactions
• Coordinating multi‑disciplinary workstreams across real estate, tax and restructuring

You will work closely with partners and clients in lean, high‑quality teams, while also supporting and mentoring junior associates as appropriate.

About You

The team is seeking high‑calibre candidates who:

• Are UK‑qualified with 2–8 PQE in real estate finance
• Open to considering Australian or New Zealand lawyers with relevant experience
• Have experience gained at a City or leading international firm
• Have a strong understanding of real estate finance structures and documentation
• Are commercially minded, proactive and confident managing transactions
• Thrive in a collaborative, fast‑paced and client‑facing environment
