About the Work

You’ll advise on a wide range of real estate finance matters, acting for both lenders and borrowers across the full asset-backed lending cycle. The teams specialise in representing lenders in the mid-market and specialist finance space, with clients including:

• Challenger banks
• Specialist property lenders
• Bridging lenders
• Private debt funds
• International banks
• High-net-worth investors and family offices

You’ll also support a variety of borrowers such as developers, property companies, and real estate investors.

Key Workstreams

Bridging Finance – Fast-turnaround loans, residential/commercial properties, refinancing and exit strategies, high-volume transactions.

Development Finance – Ground-up residential schemes, mixed-use and conversion projects, staged drawdowns and monitoring.

Investment Finance – Acquisition/refinance of income-producing assets, commercial/residential/mixed-use portfolios, SPV lending.

Structured Finance – Senior/mezzanine facilities, layered debt structures, intercreditor arrangements, cross-collateralised portfolios.

International & HNW Lending – Overseas borrowers acquiring UK property, offshore structuring, private-bank style secured lending.

Acquisition & Disposal Support – Due diligence, corporate structuring, and portfolio acquisitions/disposals alongside the real estate team.

Candidate Profile

• Qualified solicitor with 1–8 years PQE
• Solid grounding in Real Estate Finance, Banking & Finance, or Real Estate with REF exposure
• Comfortable managing transactions and liaising directly with clients
• Strong drafting skills
• Looking to join a high-calibre, fast-paced REF practice
