Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Real Estate Finance Solicitor (minimum 5 years’ PQE) to join our growing team. This role will focus on bridging and real estate finance matters, acting for lenders and/or borrowers in fast-paced, deadline-driven transactions.


You will play a key role in delivering high-quality legal advice while maintaining exceptional client service standards in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.


Key Responsibilities & Duties


  • Managing a varied caseload of real estate finance matters, with a particular focus on bridging finance transactions
  • Acting for lenders and/or borrowers on secured lending transactions
  • Drafting and negotiating facility agreements, security documents, and related documentation
  • Managing transactions from instruction through to completion, ensuring deadlines are consistently met
  • Providing commercially focused legal advice, balancing legal risk with client objectives
  • Maintaining strong client relationships and delivering a high standard of client care
  • Liaising with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders in a clear and proactive manner
  • Supporting business development initiatives and contributing to team growth
  • Supervising and mentoring junior team members


Required Skills & Qualifications


  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with a minimum of 5 years’ PQE
  • Strong experience in real estate finance, ideally with exposure to bridging lending
  • Proven track record of managing transactions efficiently and meeting tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage a high-volume workload
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Commercial awareness with a practical approach to risk
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional client service without compromise
  • Existing client relationships or following
  • Previous supervisory or managerial experience
