The Role...
At Soho House, the Reception Manager is responsible for welcoming, directing or signing in all members and guests to the property. As a Reception Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of club reception and all related departments, such as hosts, member relations and cloakroom whilst also supporting the management team as needed

Key duties...
Drive exceptional service standards by developing and refining systems that enhance the experience for members, guests, and staff.
Ensure every member is welcomed by name (if local) and guest is welcomed with open arms and in a hospitable manner.
Answer high-volume phone lines and calls for restaurant, roof and cinema reservations, general inquiries, and deliveries, messages for members and from employees; among other inquiries.
Well-versed on standard Q&A regarding menus, hours of operation and amenity availability/pricing.
Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work environment, reception area, desk and coat check closet.
Perform Guest List duties on the floor level, club and/or Rooftop (if applicable).
Support, redirect and problem solve in real-time to ensure any guest related concerns are addressed and action items have been set.
Assist guests by checking/ retrieving their coats and/or items they left.
Build relationships with members and guests and communicate and red flags and positive feedback to management.
Influence a fun and positive atmosphere by being approachable and professional.
Assist management with new hires by training Soho Standards and steps of service expected daily.
What we are looking for...
Minimum of 2+ years' experience in similar capacity
Strong attention to details
Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle feedback to achieve member satisfaction
Must be able to demonstrate competency as outlined in the training schedule and Club School
Must be able to work flexible shifts and schedules, including weekends and holidays as needed
Ability to take direction, work in a team environment and autonomously
