About the Role

A vibrant and nurturing Greenwich primary school near Westcombe Park Station is looking for an inspiring Reception Teacher to join their Early Years team from September This is a full-time role with a supportive leadership team and a well-resourced EYFS environment.

As a Reception Teacher, you will lead a class of enthusiastic, curious learners through a balance of play-based exploration and structured early literacy and numeracy sessions. You will work closely with a dedicated EYFS TA and an experienced EYFS Lead who champions creativity and high-quality early learning.

The Ideal Candidate

The school hopes to appoint a Reception Teacher who:

Has secure EYFS curriculum knowledge and a passion for early learning

Can create warm, purposeful routines that support independence

Uses continuous provision effectively to extend learning

Has strong phonics understanding (Little Wandle or Read Write Inc. desirable)

Brings energy, organisation, and excellent communication

Both experienced teachers and confident ECTs with Early Years experience are welcome.
