Job Title: Receptionist

Location: Gateshead Salary: £23,000 – £27,000 per year (depending on age and experience) Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)

About the Role

We are looking for a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our team in Gateshead. You will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, making sure everyone feels welcome. Alongside reception duties, you will help with administrative tasks such as accommodation bookings and fleet management.

Main Responsibilities

* Welcome and assist visitors, clients, and staff in a polite and professional way.

* Answer and manage phone calls, emails, and enquiries efficiently.

* Arrange accommodation bookings for staff and visitors.

* Help manage the company’s fleet, including vehicle servicing, MOTs, repairs, and maintenance.

* Keep the reception area tidy and professional.

* Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.

* Work with internal teams to ensure smooth daily operations.

What We Are Looking For

* Experience as a receptionist, administrator, or in customer service.

* Good organisational skills and attention to detail.

* Excellent spoken and written English.

* Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise work.

* Comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning new software.

* Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
