Job Title: Portfolio & Recoveries Manager

Position: Permanent, Mon-Fri – 8.30-5.30pm

Location: Central London

Salary up to £65k + Benefits +Bonus


Our client is an award-winning short-term property finance lender well recognised amongst the broker community for providing outstanding customer service and securing funding for them on complex deals where others simply can’t. They strive to provide the best service possible, and this is evident in the outstanding reviews they have received.


Due to successful growth, they are looking to hire a Portfolio and Recoveries Manager to manage both performing and non-performing loans from legal completion through to the full cycle of effective repayment or enforcement.


What’s on offer

  • Impact from day one: Own a live portfolio of short-term property loans across residential and commercial sectors, with clear accountability for both performing and non-performing cases.
  • Full life-cycle control: Manage loans from legal completion through drawdowns and all post-completion events to repayment or enforcement, including redemptions, extensions and instructing third parties (solicitors/receivers).
  • Hands-on recoveries: Lead negotiations, direct enforcement strategies (e.g., LPA receivership), and oversee asset disposals to secure optimal outcomes.
  • Credible platform: Join a specialist bridging lender with a growing loan book, strong execution reputation, and nationwide footprint across England, Scotland and Wales.
  • Senior visibility: Produce regular portfolio/risk reports for senior management; work closely with valuers, solicitors, receivers and internal stakeholders.
  • Professional development: Scope to refine portfolio, collections and recoveries procedures.
