Help Shape the Future of Inclusive Recruitment at King’s Cross

At King’s Cross Recruit (KXR), we believe in the power of opportunity. Born out of the iconic King’s Cross development, KXR was established to ensure that local communities benefit from the area’s economic and social transformation. We've placed thousands of Camden and Islington residents into high-quality jobs, apprenticeships, and training opportunities—and now, we're entering a bold new chapter.

As we evolve from a Section 106-funded service into a newly independent organisation, we're expanding our vision. We aim to become one of London’s leading local employment and skills hubs, rooted in community and driven by impact.

We’re looking for an outstanding Recruitment Account Manager to join us at this pivotal moment. You'll play a crucial role in connecting employers with diverse local talent while co-designing and delivering programmes that open doors for jobseekers.

As a key member of the KXR team, you’ll:

  • Build strong relationships with employers across the King’s Cross estate and beyond
  • Promote inclusive recruitment practices and meet placement targets
  • Match local candidates with quality job and training opportunities
  • Lead and support outreach events, recruitment fairs, and training workshops
  • Collaborate with partner agencies, training providers, and local authorities
  • Represent KXR to stakeholders, the Board, and at community events
  • Use CRM systems (Salesforce/Seven20) to track candidate progress and service outcomes
  • Help shape and deliver new pilot initiatives that can be scaled and sustained

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who is:

  • Experienced in recruitment, employability or stakeholder engagement
  • Skilled in managing employer accounts and achieving placement targets
  • Passionate about social impact, local opportunity, and inclusive hiring
  • Proactive, organised, and confident in presenting to diverse audiences
  • A great communicator—written, verbal and digital
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and familiar with LinkedIn, Indeed, and other platforms

Bonus points if you have experience delivering training or working with Camden and Islington-based services.

Why Join KXR?

This is more than a job—it’s a chance to be part of a mission-driven, community-focused organisation at an exciting time of transformation.

  • Medicash scheme
  • Season ticket/bike loan
  • Discretionary annual bonus
  • Up to £1,000 quarterly performance bonus
  • 25 days annual leave + bank holidays
  • Training and development opportunities
  • Dynamic work policy and more
