£32,715 - £35,741 gross per annum

The Marketing Department at Blackburn College is driving growth through the delivery of a new transformative marketing strategy focusing on recruitment, relationships and reputation. We will deliver a new annual omni-channel campaign structure across further, higher, apprenticeship and adult markets delivering exceptional experiences for our prospective students.

From August 2026 we require a Recruitment & Engagement Manager to lead and manage the delivery of the college's external engagement with local schools, colleges and the wider community. This post holder will manage and oversee cross college events aiding both recruitment and student experience.

What we are looking for

You should hold a full Degree, or equivalent qualification, or significant work experience in a relevant area. You should also have GCSE (or Equivalent) in English Language and Maths at grade C/4 or above. You will need to have had a significant and demonstrable experience of working with young people in a community setting and within a secondary school environment and be an expert in the post-16 education and the options available to pupils after school. Youy must be willing to work flexibly including undertaking evening work in Schools and in College and be responsive to the changing external Marketing environment
