Job role: Recycling Operative

Salary: Up To £35,000 - Benefits - Overtime - Training

Permanent Position

Monday - Friday - Day Shift

My client, a leading Waste & Recycling company are looking for a Recycling Operative to join the team.

Recycling Operative - Responsibilities:

* Sort and separate different types of recyclable materials (paper, plastics, metals, glass, etc.) on a conveyor line or in designated areas.

* Remove non-recyclable and contaminated materials to ensure high-quality output.

* Assist in loading and unloading materials.

* Maintain a clean and safe working area.

* Follow all health & safety procedures and wear required PPE.

Recycling Operative - Skills and Attributes

* Experience in a recycling or waste facility

* Experience operating plant machinery - telehandlers, forklifts, loading shovels etc .

* Ability to conduct machinery inspections and schedule maintenance

* Computer literate
