Job Title: RedHat OpenShift Integration Architect Location: London Contract: Fixed term contract Job Summary We are looking for a RedHat OpenShift Integration Architect to lead the design and delivery of scalable OpenShift platforms and execute workload migrations from legacy environments. Key Responsibilities
Design target-state OpenShift clusters including topology, networking and storage. Enable multi-region / multi-zone deployments with high availability and disaster recovery patterns. Apply OpenShift and Kubernetes best practices for scalability, resiliency and governance. Assess current workloads and infrastructure for migration readiness. Develop migration plans including containerisation, data movement and cutover. Integrate OpenShift clusters into VMware environments (vSphere, vCenter, NSX). Design and configure storage using Pure Storage (FlashArray, FlashBlade). Ensure compatibility between OpenShift, VMware and storage platforms. Design CI/CD pipelines for container-based workloads. Integrate OpenShift-native and ecosystem DevOps tools (e.g., GitHub, ArgoCD, Jenkins). Automate deployments, scaling, updates and monitoring pathways. Implement governance covering RBAC, network policy and encryption. Produce detailed design artefacts, migration runbooks and platform documentation.
Qualifications / Experience
Strong expertise architecting and migrating workloads to OpenShift. Deep Kubernetes and container orchestration knowledge. Hands‑on VMware expertise (vSphere, vCenter, NSX). Hands‑on Pure Storage experience (FlashArray / FlashBlade). Strong networking & storage fundamentals (PV, dynamic provisioning, ingress, LB, DNS). Experience building CI/CD + GitOps workflows in OpenShift environments. Strong automation skills (e.g., Bash, Python, Ansible, Terraform). Experience with large-scale migration and transformation programmes. Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
