The Package
  • Salary up to £45,000 per year (depending on experience) based on a 40-hour week

The Person

The ideal candidate will be an experienced and reliable engineer with a strong technical background and a professional approach.

Essential skills and experience:

  • NVQ Level 2 (minimum) in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning

  • Current F-Gas certification

  • Full UK driving licence

  • Proven experience in fault finding and diagnostics

  • Competence in pressure testing, evacuation, dehydration and refrigerant charging

  • Good electrical knowledge (single and three phase) and ability to read wiring diagrams

Desirable:

  • Experience with VRV/VRF systems and chillers

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Strong communication skills with both colleagues and customers

  • Professional and customer-focused attitude

  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics and manuals

  • Proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills

  • Basic IT skills (training provided)

The role and responsibilities

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Service Engineer to join a growing and professional team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Field-based service, maintenance and repair of refrigeration and air conditioning systems

  • Fault finding, diagnostics and breakdown repairs

  • Attending reactive service calls (including participation in an on-call rota approx. 1 in 10 weeks, depending on team size)

  • Carrying out occasional planned preventative maintenance

Location

This is a mobile role covering industrial, commercial and residential sites, primarily across the South of England and London, with travel from the Eynsham, Oxfordshire area.
