Overview

We are supporting a forward-thinking local authority delivering a significant town centre regeneration programme, and are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead on capital delivery with a focus on property acquisition.

This is a key role within a high-profile scheme involving residential acquisition and demolition, requiring both technical delivery capability and strong stakeholder engagement skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of capital regeneration projects involving acquisition and demolition
• Act as a key public-facing representative, engaging directly with residents
• Work closely with legal teams and internal stakeholders to progress acquisitions
• Manage internal and external comms to maintain stakeholder alignment
• Oversee programme delivery in line with funding and governance requirements

Key Requirements

• Proven experience in project management within capital delivery
• Strong public sector experience (local authority preferred)
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Ability to manage complex programmes with multiple stakeholders
