Regional Account Executive - North MPO

Position Overview
This role is part of Brown-Forman UK’s On Trade & Prestige function, driving the channel strategy across the B‑F portfolio within the region. You will be accountable for delivering key performance indicators such as distribution volume, pricing, brand education, visibility, and promotions, while collaborating with business‑unit leadership to define sales, distribution, promotion goals and commercial strategies for MPO customers. You will also analyse performance, implement and evaluate trade and consumer promotions, ensuring a strong premium portfolio presence.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to the channel strategy by influencing and driving distribution through direct engagement with MPO operators.
Develop account plans that include volume, promotional activity, visibility, logistics, and financial information, and set KPIs to measure results.
Build and maintain key relationships, cultivating a strong network with priority on in‑trade engagement.
Achieve sales and distribution goals, delivering targets for MPO customers in the account base.
Manage pricing and promotions, overseeing pricing, brand education, visibility, and promotional activities across the account base.
Analyze performance and evaluate initiatives to assess the impact of sales, distribution, and promotions.
Drive business development by pursuing growth opportunities through a new business pipeline.
Foster internal partnerships, building strong relationships across Brown-Forman.
Participate in team development, nurturing a high‑performing team focused on collaboration and excellence.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of the On Trade and Wholesale channels.
Established network within the On Trade and Wholesale channels.
Significant sales experience across On Trade and Wholesale environments, with the ability to quickly infer customer and regional needs, unlock insights from data, and drive growth with trade partners.
Depth of experience in customer negotiations at a regional level and a sound knowledge of the UK on‑trade environment.
Strong business acumen and P&L experience.
Passion for brands and a proven ability to deliver brand sales stories.
Fluent English (spoken and written).
Strong analytical, commercial, and problem‑solving skills.
Excellent influencing skills, conveying sales information clearly, concisely, and visually.
Self‑motivated, with a proven ability to identify issues and projects, plan and prioritise effectively, and manage multiple projects to completion by deadlines.
Strong judgment, strategic capabilities, and business acumen.
Superior communication skills (listening, presentation, written).
Ability to build relationships at all levels with strong stakeholder awareness.
Collaborative team player with conflict management skills.
Adaptable, flexible, and resilient.
IT literacy in Google and MS Office applications.
