An established fertility provider is seeking an experienced Regional Laboratory Manager to lead two clinics and drive high-quality, patient-centred laboratory services. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on clinical embryology, contributing directly to patient outcomes while shaping the development of laboratory teams across the region.
About the Role
You'll oversee two laboratories, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant clinical practice. Around 80% of the role is management-focused, with the remaining time dedicated to clinical embryology. You will work closely with senior clinic leaders, contribute to service development, and support wider organisational initiatives. This is a full-time, on-site role across two regional clinics, with one remote working day per week. Some weekend/on-call work may be required.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
Lead and support multidisciplinary laboratory teams across two sites. Promote a culture of learning, accountability, and continuous improvement. Mentor junior staff and oversee training, competency, and performance management.
Clinical Practice
Perform the full range of embryology and andrology procedures, including ICSI, embryo culture, transfer, cryopreservation, and donor screening.
