Regional Lead - Asia – SubSea Craft Limited

Salary: £70,000-£80,000 DOE Full Time Permanent

Responsibilities

Strategy Development – lead on the development and implementation of strategic business development plans to achieve company objectives and expand market presence within Asia. Client Relationships – build and maintain strong regional relationships with key stakeholders, including military officials, defence contractors, government agencies, and other potential partners. Regional Accountability – accountability for regional business development reporting to senior management. Industry Engagement – represent the company at industry forums, contribute to thought leadership initiatives, attend trade shows and conferences. International travel required. Coordinate Internal Collaboration – collaborate with internal teams (engineering, product development, finance) to align business development efforts with company goals. Management – lead the Business Development team within Asia to achieve regional business objectives.

Qualifications and Experience

Relevant experience of winning business within the defence sector, preferably within Asia. Demonstrable experience expanding and leading a successful business‑development team. Strong oral and written communication skills, able to present complex information to diverse audiences. Cultural awareness of regional business culture and etiquette. Reporting experience, engaging with senior personnel and providing accurate reporting to support allocation of business resources. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Engineering, or related discipline). Current NSV clearance or ability to attain clearance.

Security Requirements: The selected candidate must meet baseline UK National Security clearance (BPSS) and existing right to live and work in the UK. Certain roles require UK National security clearance.
