Regional Surveying Manager
Location: South Region | Home Based with Travel
Division: Building Consultancy
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Building Surveying professional to take on the role of Regional Surveying Manager within a well-established and growing consultancy.
This senior position will provide leadership across the South region, managing and developing a high-performing Surveying Services team while delivering a technically excellent, client-focused service. The role is home based, with travel to sites and UK offices as required.
The Role
Reporting to the Operations Director, you will be responsible for:
Leading and developing a regional team of surveyors Ensuring delivery of high-quality technical services in line with contractual obligations and KPIs Supporting business development by identifying and converting new opportunities Developing and strengthening existing client relationships Managing regional performance, resource allocation and team competence Working with the Technical Manager to drive audit improvements and technical standards Managing a personal caseload and contributing to regional revenue Collaborating with other business units to enhance overall client satisfaction
This role requires a balance of technical expertise, leadership capability and commercial awareness.
Candidate Profile
Strong technical knowledge of building construction, health and safety, and contract management Proven experience delivering high-quality surveying services Ability to manage SLAs and KPIs effectively Excellent written and verbal communication skills Commercially astute with strong client relationship management skills Demonstrates integrity, professionalism and the ability to lead by example Previous team leadership experience desirable
Candidates should be confident operating both independently and as part of a wider leadership team.
