Northern Sales Manager – Construction Products


North of England | Up to £70,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance


Our client is a well-established and highly regarded manufacturer of construction products, supplying leading contractors and national housebuilders across the UK.


Due to continued expansion, they are now seeking an experienced Northern Sales Manager to lead their regional sales operation.


This is a senior leadership role responsible for managing and developing an established external sales team while strengthening relationships with key national housebuilder accounts.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a field-based sales team across the Northern region
  • Drive sales growth through effective leadership, coaching, and performance management
  • Build and maintain strong commercial relationships with national housebuilders (essential)
  • Deliver regional sales strategy aligned with wider business objectives
  • Forecast sales performance and provide regular market insight and reporting


Candidate Requirements

  • Proven track record in sales management within construction products or building materials
  • Demonstrable experience managing external/field-based sales teams
  • Extensive experience working with national housebuilders (essential)
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational abilities
