Regional Sales Manager

Job Description
Visum Recruitment are excited to be partnering with a leading industrial transmission manufacturer, who are looking for a driven Regional Sales Manager to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
In this role, you’ll develop new business and grow existing customer relationships across the South East, driving sales of gearboxes and mechanical transmission solutions to OEMs, distributors, and end users in sectors like manufacturing, automation, and heavy engineering.
What You’ll Do
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market share.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor, offering guidance on gearbox products and tailored solutions.
- Lead projects from enquiry through proposals, trials, and order completion.
- Conduct on-site and remote sales meetings, delivering technical advice and solution-based selling.
- Negotiate pricing, discounts, and commercial terms.
- Use CRM systems to manage your sales pipeline and track customer interactions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment and after-sales support.
- Monitor performance against KPIs and report on pipeline, forecasts, and market activity.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in B2B technical or industrial sales.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical power transmission, gearboxes, or related technologies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a regional territory.
- CRM proficiency and sales reporting experience.
- Full UK driving licence.
Salary & Benefits
- Circa £55,000 + performance-based commission
