Registered Building Inspector – Chelmsford

Our client is seeking a motivated Registered Building Inspector to join their growing team, supporting a diverse portfolio across the Southend–Chelmsford region. Key Responsibilities
* Carry out site inspections to ensure compliance with Building Regulations and associated legislation
* Assess plans, drawings, and reports submitted for building control approval
* Provide clear technical advice to clients, contractors, and design teams
* Prepare and submit detailed records, inspection notes, and compliance assessments
* Manage a varied caseload across residential and commercial projects
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders
* Ensure all work meets regulatory and quality standards
About You
* Registered Building Inspector (Class 2A or above)
* Strong working knowledge of Building Regulations and construction standards
* Confident in conducting inspections and providing professional guidance
* Excellent communication and report-writing skills
* Organised, proactive, and able to manage your own workload
* Full UK driving licence
