Registered Children's Home Manager We are seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Children s Home Manager to lead a 3-bed Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) children s home in Preston. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to take the lead in delivering high-quality care and support to young people in a nurturing and structured environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care tailored to children with complex needs. This role requires strong leadership, organisational skills, and a compassionate approach to managing a team of care professionals. The Registered Children's Manager will play a pivotal role in developing personalised care plans, supervising staff, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards within a caring and supportive environment. Registered Children's Home Manager Responsibilities

Provide strong leadership and day-to-day management of the children s home. Ensure the home operates in full compliance with Ofsted regulations and Children s Homes Regulations. Lead, support and develop a team of residential support staff. Ensure the highest standards of care, safeguarding and positive outcomes for young people. Manage care planning, risk assessments and placement plans. Work collaboratively with local authorities, families and external professionals. Maintain accurate records and ensure the home is inspection ready.

Requirements

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent). Minimum 1 year s experience in a children s home management role or similar leadership position. Strong knowledge of Ofsted standards and regulatory requirements. Proven leadership and team management skills. Passion for improving the lives and outcomes of young people.

What We Offer
