Registered Manager Residential Children’s Home (Complex EBD) Location: Leicester LE2 Service: 3-bed home with activity & sensory room Salary: £65,000–£70,000 + £5,000 signing bonus
Make your mark from day one. A high-spec, newly renovated complex EBD home is ready to open in LE2. SC2 is complete , a small core team is in place, and pre-reg is due. You’ll set the culture, take the home through registration, and lead safe, steady growth.
What you’ll lead Hold Ofsted registration and day-to-day operations Recruit, coach and retain a consistent, skilled team with clear supervision and CPD Embed trauma-informed, relational practice and predictable routines Own safeguarding, care planning, risk, QA and SCCIF readiness, inspection-ready every day Manage matching/admissions to protect stability and outcomes Build strong links with families, LAs, schools, health partners Track quality, data, budgets and occupancy so care and commercial stay aligned
What you’ll bring Level 5 Leadership & Management (Residential Childcare) Recent experience holding Ofsted registration in a children’s home Strong knowledge of Children’s Homes Regs, Quality Standards, SCCIF Calm, clear leadership; excellent judgement and communication A practical, business-minded approach to safe growth and rota planning Full UK manual driving licence
