We are supporting a well‑established children’s residential provider in Shrewsbury to appoint a Home Manager.


This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a stable, well‑run service that is entering a strong period of growth and investment.


The Role: Home Manager / Registered Manager

You will have full accountability for:

  • The overall quality, compliance, and safeguarding of the home
  • Leading and developing a stable, values‑led staff team
  • Ensuring strong Ofsted compliance and positive inspection outcomes
  • Delivering child‑centred care and positive outcomes for young people
  • Working closely with senior leaders and external professionals during the opening of the new home


This role offers a genuine opportunity to shape the culture, systems, and leadership approach of a growing residential service while maintaining a strong focus on stability and safeguarding.


What We’re Looking For

  • Experienced Registered Manager in children’s residential care
  • Level 4 or 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (Children & Young People) or working towards
  • Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and quality assurance
  • A calm, resilient, and values‑led leadership style
  • Confidence managing change and supporting service growth
