An exciting and rewarding opportunity has arisen for a Registered Manager to join an established yet progressive organisation who pride themselves on delivering high quality support and care to vulnerable adults with complex and diverse support needs.
We delighted to be supporting this organisation to seek a skilled leader, an individual who is able to lead from the front and manage a small 2 bedded service in Leyland for adults with learning disability, autism and behaviours that may challenge.
About the role:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the 2 bedded residential service, ensuring compliance in line with CQC legislation. Lead and manage a team of support staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality person-centred support. Develop and implement support plans tailored to the individual needs of service users. Conduct regular assessments and reviews of service users' needs and progress. Ensure effective communication with service users, families, and external stakeholders. Manage budgets and resources efficiently to maintain service quality. Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team, ensuring that regular supervisions are completed and in- person 1-1s. Work with the team to provide support, be visible on site in the service and offer ongoing development where required. Permanent, full time with some on call duties required. Monday to Friday with flexibility needed where relevant.
About you:
Ideally you will be a Registered Manager or a Service Manager or Deputy seeking that next step up to be RM Experience in adult services management, particularly in supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism and behaviours that may challenge. Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to lead others and develop them. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to work with a person centred approach. Ability to develop and implement effective support plans. Strong organisational and time management skills. A strong understanding in CQC legislation and framework and safeguarding knowledge Flexible in your working approach with the passion and drive to make a difference. Level 5 Leadership & Management or part way through this.
