Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Home

Location: Stoke-on-Trent (ST3)

Salary: £50,000 per annum

Bonus: £1,000 upon achieving Good or above Ofsted rating

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

An established children’s residential care provider is seeking a Registered Manager for a 4-bed EBD home currently rated GOOD by Ofsted.

The home is operational and currently supports 2 young people.

Duties:

• Register with Ofsted and maintain compliance with Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015
• Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people
• Lead the day-to-day management of the home
• Oversee care planning and risk management
• Manage staffing levels, rotas and budgets
• Maintain and improve Ofsted standards

Requirements:

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards within required xbpsjku timeframe)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a children’s residential setting (within last 5 years)
• At least 1 year in a supervisory or management role
• Strong knowledge of Ofsted inspection framework
• Experience supporting children with EBD

On-call: Rotational basis (2–3 days).
