Locatedjust outside Christchurch, we are a residential home providing nursing, palliative, residential, and dementia care across three floors. We support people with complex needs through a compassionate, person-centred approach, andwerelooking for someone who shares our commitment to exceptional care.
Were looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to lead our 81-bed residential care home ensuring the delivery of high-quality support for older adults, including those living with dementia and individualsrequiringend-of-life care.
As Registered Manager,youllensure the service delivers safe, effective,compassionateand person-centred care in line with CQC regulations and best practice.Youllprovide strong clinical and operational leadership, guiding and motivating your team to consistently meet regulatory standards, contractualcommitmentsand the organisations core values.Youlldrive continuous improvement, nurture a positivecultureand ensure the homeremainsa place where residents truly feel at home.
Whatyoulldo
Manage the service in full compliance with CQC regulations and relevant legislation.
Provide strategic and operational leadership.
Ensure the delivery of person-centred,safeand effective care, ensuring robust care planning, risk assessment and review processes are in place.
Lead, manage and motivate the staff team.
Manage the homes budget effectively, ensuring financial sustainability whilemaintaininghigh standardsof care.
Lead on the recruitment,selectionand retention of staff.
Supervise and appraise staff,identifyingtraining and development needs.
About you Wereseeking an experienced leader with: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
In-depth knowledge of CQC regulations, Fundamental Standards and Care Act 2014.
Experience of managing services for older people, including those with dementia and complex needs.
Experience of risk assessment, careplanningand quality monitoring.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire teams and build strong partnerships.
Understanding of dementia care, person-centredpracticeand safeguarding.
Knowledge of end of life and palliative care principles.
