Registered Manager – Children’s Residential (EBD/SEMH) Wrexham (on-site) Up to £55,000 + bonus ⏰ Full-time (39 hours)

Overview

We are recruiting for a Registered Manager to lead a 3-bed children’s residential home in Wrexham, supporting young people aged 8–17 with emotional, social and behavioural needs (EBD/SEMH).

This is a key leadership role within a service that is going through a period of stabilisation and development. You’ll play a pivotal role in bringing structure, rebuilding team confidence, and embedding consistent, high-quality care.

The Role

As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and performance of the home, ensuring a safe, structured, and nurturing environment for young people.

Key responsibilities include:

Full day-to-day management of the home

Ensuring safeguarding, compliance, and Ofsted readiness

Leading, supervising, and developing the staff team

Embedding structure, routines, and best practice

Driving service improvement, quality, and performance

About You

We are looking for a confident and experienced leader who can make a real impact.

Experienced Registered Manager, or strong Deputy ready to step up

Background in children’s residential care (EBD/SEMH essential)

Proven track record of improving services and leading teams

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or working towards)

Full UK driving licence

Strong understanding of safeguarding and regulatory compliance
