REGISTERED MANAGER-DOMICILIARY CARE
Location: Derbyshire (Buxton)
Salary: £35,235 – £37,938 Contract: Full-time
Hours:
to be worked flexibly according to the needs of the service. It is a core expectation that you will work early shifts, evening shifts and on weekends

About the Role :
As the Registered Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operations of our domiciliary care service, ensuring high standards of care, compliance with CQC regulations, and the ongoing development of your team. Working closely with the Head of Development and the Company Director, you will shape and implement strategic plans to enhance service delivery and drive sustainable growth. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the domiciliary care service · Manage and assess new care referrals · Coordinate the implementation of new care packages · Ensure compliance with CQC standards and statutory regulations · Lead the care team through effective supervision, appraisal, and development · Manage financial performance and budgets · Recruit, retain, and develop high-quality staff · Identify and develop new business opportunities · Represent the organisation positively with stakeholders, local authorities, and partner agencies · Participate in the on-call management Rota to support operational needs.

You will have:
A proven track record of leading service improvements and managing change · Strong stakeholder engagement skills with local authorities, health partners, and staff teams · A commercial mindset with the ability to grow income and improve service delivery · Extensive knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and care standards · A collaborative and team-oriented approach with a positive 'can-do' attitude Professional qualifications and Essential Requirements To succeed in this role, you will need to have a relevant professional
Qualification and experience, notably:
A minimum of four years' experience in the care sector, including three years in a management role · Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent), or currently working towards it, or Level 4 in Care or Management e.g. NVQ/SVQ 4, · QCF Level 5 Award Certificate or Diploma, HNC, HND, or a QCF Level 4 Award, Certificate or Diploma (also known as BTEC Professional Award, Certificate, Diploma), · BTEC Professional Diploma, Certificate or Award and working towards a professional Qualification at Level 5 as above. · Strong understanding of the regulatory framework for domiciliary care · Previous experience working in a startup or growing care environment is desirable · Full flexibility to support service needs, including on-call responsibilities ·
